We open again on April 1!

Finally we can say that we are opening again, as we have longed for! On April 1, Skansen will open its doors, of course the opening will be made in line with current restrictions and recommendations. As an extra precaution, all guests, regardless of whether they have an annual pass or not, must pre-book their tickets via Ticketmaster during the Easter weekend. The number of tickets released each day is 5,000 as it is the maximum number of visitors who may be in the park according to current restrictions.

During the time we have closed, we at Skansen’s Restaurants have begun a major renovation of the restaurant Terrassen, a work that will continue and we look forward to inviting you when we can open! We will return with an opening date later.
From April 1, we will open our food stalls Gamla Krogen, Våffelbruket and Balderslunden. In all stalls we offer completely new menus, our head chef Johan Råckle has placed great focus on sustainable and locally produced ingredients in the production of these. We promise that there is something for everyone!

Of course, our restaurants will be adapted according to current restrictions, so that both guests and staff will feel safe. Here are some examples of how:

  • Clear and marked queuing systems
  • Clear information signs
  • One meter distance between the tables
  • Table with space for a maximum of 4 guests
  • Hand alcohol at the checkouts
  • All staff wear mouth guards
  • Card payment only
